Mobile Bay Film Scramble 6
a Short Film challenge
It’s time to put some of those great ideas into action, the sixth Mobile Bay Film Scramble begins!
If you’ve always wanted to be a part of the exciting film scrambles
happening in town but never knew how, here’s your chance.
Film scrambles offer a unique challenge to all area filmmakers, from
beginners to professionals, to complete a short film within a very limited
time frame.
Three ways you can get in on it:
First:
Meet at Satori Coffee Friday Sept 14 at 7pm to sign up
There you will find out the specs and rules of the scramble, register, meet
other participants, have a drink (or three.)
If you’d like to participate but are not a filmmaker, come out anyway.
Teams can always use actors, extras, technical assistants, prop masters,
etc.
Second:
Make your film and submit it to the Crescent Theater by the deadline (announced at the signup.)
Third:
Come out to the Crescent Theater on Friday Sept 28 or 29 to check out all the entries and cast your vote for your favorite. (Screening times TBA)
The winners will be determined by audience and judges’ vote.

Have you ever thought about having a teen category? There are a few aspiring filmmakers who are still in high school who would love to compete.
Teens are welcome to participate in all Mobile Bay Film Scramble competitions, assuming the scramble is age-appropriate(which this one is.) Send em on!
